The Real-time options allow gaze position and pupil size to be displayed in real time without recording the results.

This is useful when setting up a patient before a recording and also where the clinician requires a quick measurement of phoria or pupil size.

To select the Real-time mode, select the Real-time tab at the top of the control screen.  This displays the options shown below.

Calibrate - invokes the Tobii Pro Eye Tracker Manager. See calibrate

Alignment - show the patient alignment screen. See Alignment

Show live - displays the current gaze position on the patient's screen and on the panels in the control screen. See Show live

Circles - starts an interactive "game" which records the time taken for a patient to fixate within each circle in an array. See Circles

Random - starts an interactive "game" which records the time taken for a patient to fixate within circles shown in random locations on the screen. See Random

Pursuit - starts an interactive "game" which records the mean error between gaze position and target position while a patient track a dot moving in a circular path. See Pursuit

Workout - runs each of the interactive "games" and records an overall score. See Workout

Phoria - shows the gaze location of each eye and calculates the disparity in prism dioptres. See Phoria

Biofeedback  - shows the gaze location of each eye and provides audible or visual feedback on the current convergence. See Biofeedback

Pupils  - provides real-time measurements of pupil size. See Pupils
