Single Letter Chart

The Single Letter chart is displayed by selecting the Sing icon on the Primary toolbar, pressing F3 on the keyboard of selecting Single on the remote control handset.



The letter / optotype displayed by default is the first letter on the row defined for the LogMAR chart and can be changed via the LogMAR letters tab of the Options ... Chart Optotype Selection window as shown below. Pressing O on the secondary toolbar, keyboard or remote repeatedly will cycle through the five sets of default letters.



The Single letter chart uses a logMAR progression of letter sizes.  


Test Chart 2016 provides a wide range of options for customizing the Single Letter chart. These options may be selected using the Secondary toolbar or by using the keyboard or remote control.

  • Crowded / Uncrowded
  • Coloured chart
  • Low Contrast charts

    NOTE: For obvious reasons, the single row, single column and duochrome split are not available in Single Letter mode.
