X-Y display panel
The X-Y display panels show the actual gaze position relative to the stimulus as shown below.

This trace is known as the scan path.
Adjusting x and Y offset
Errors in calibration can sometimes result in the scan path being offset from the text. This can be corrected using the horizontal and vertical scrollbars next to the image thumbnail.
Replaying the recording
The eye movement recording can be replayed by clicking Play in the main toolbar. A cursor will move across the horizontal eye movement traces and the X-Y display will change to the format shown below.

The blue circle shows the gaze position at the moment in time. This format is very useful for demonstrating to patients/ parents of patients, a change in the pattern of eye movements as a result of an intervention.
The scroll bar above the X-Y display can be used to scroll to any part of the recording.
Binocular and Monocular traces
By default, the mean position of the two eyes is displayed. However, clicking on Binoc in the main toolbar changes the display to Monoc format and displays the gaze position for each eye.

The scan path for the right and the left eyes are shown by the red and green traces respectively.
This provides a powerful method for examining binocular status throughout the recording.
NOTE: These traces are inherently more noisy that the binocular traces.
The monocular recordings can also be replayed by selecting Play on the main toolbar.
