LogMAR Reading
The LogMAR Reading group shows a variety of texts shown in a pseudo-LogMAR format as shown below:

The size of the text follows a LogMAR progression with the size of the text increasing in 0.1 LogMAR units from bottom to top. The labels show LogMAR on the left and Visual Acuity Rating (VAR) on the right.
The rows are text are separated by approximately one letter height, again following the LogMAR principle.
Although the chart follows the LogMAR principles, the spacing of the letters is clearly different to a LogMAR letter chart and therefore results will only show an approximate correlation with LogMAR acuity.
The sizing of the letters is based on the Calibration data and should be the same all all devices provided they have been accurately calibrated.
Different passages of text can be selected from the list for different patient demographics.
The text will automatically wrap depending on the width of the device.
NOTE: The quality of the text displayed on the device will depend on the resolution/pixel density of the screen. The clinician must take this into account when assessing the patient's ability to read the text.
