If the system has been well calibrated, the XY scan path trace should accurately reflect the position of the patient's eyes throughout the recording.


However, if the calibration is inaccurate, the scan path may be shifted with respect to the image of the screen.  In the example shown below, the scan path is shifted slightly down and to the right relative to the text.



This can be compensated for by using the XY offset scroll bars (to the right and below the Gaze metrics window). The entire recording may be shifted upwards using the vertical scroll bar to the right of the XY display, or horizontally using the horizontal scroll bar beneath the display.


The adjusted result is shown below:



The recording with the new offset can be added to the list of recordings by selecting File ... Save as from the menu.
