General settings
Use test control window (two monitor systems)
The ReadEZ Screen software may be run on a single screen of dual screen PC. If a dual screen PC is used, the patient may view one screen and the screener can view a second screen with a control window. This reduces distractions on the patient's screen. To select this option, tick the Use test control window (two monitor systems) box. If this option is not selected, the control bar is shown at the bottom of the test screen.
Enable Eye Tracking
If you have purchase the Tobii Eye Bar and wish to record eye movements, this option should be checked.
Database
The database panel specifies the location of the SQLite database file. This will normally be set up during the installation process and does not need to be changed unless you wish to change the database location (to a shared drive for example).
A new (empty) database can be created by clicking on New and specifying the name and location of the database file.
Test Connection checks the connection to the specified database.
Data directory
This is used to specify the main program directory. This will be configured during installation and should not be changed without the supervision of Thomson Software Solutions support.

The ReadEZ Screening software uses three windows:
- Admin screen: Main window showing database list and results

The position of each of these three windows can be specified from the Windows position tab.
