LogMAR Acuity
The LogMAR Acuity group shows a variety of LogMAR charts on the selected device, appropriately scaled for the device and the selected viewing distance.

Two viewing distance may be selected - these are the tow viewing distances chosen during Calibration of the device.
The chart may be populated with Sloan letters, Landolt Cs or the Auckland paediatric optotypes as shown below.

The labels on the chart show the corresponding LogMAR and Visual Acuity Rating (VAR) for each row.
The letters may be randomised by selecting Randomise and the red cursor lines can be moved to point at different rows using the Cursor or the mouse wheel.
NOTE: The quality of the text displayed on the device will depend on the resolution/pixel density of the screen. The clinician must take this into account when assessing the patient's logMAR acuity.
