Getting started with the Thomson Near Chart

Hardware requirements

You will require the following:

• A PC running Windows 10 or 11 with good internet access
• A tablet or smartphone with good internet access

Installing the Thomson Near Chart

When you subscribe to the Thomson Near Chart, an engineer will log in to your PC using Teamviewer, install the software, help you set up your first device and calibrate it and provide training.

Downloads for Android, IOS Devices and Windows devices

The Thomson Near Chart can be displayed using standard browsers such as Safari, Edge, Google Chrome etc. However, for devices to be used regularly to display the Thomson Near Chart, free Apps are available which are optimised for the purpose.

The Android and IOS apps are called Thomson Cloud and may be downloaded from the Google Play and App stores respectively.
