Thomson Software Solutions specialises in software for vision assessment and screening. The company was founded by Professor David Thomson who recognised the potential of emerging computer and display technology for clinical vision assessment.
Professor Thomson, himself an accomplished programmer, started developing software to exploit the new technology in the early 1990s and the first program was launched in 1992. From these humble beginnings, Thomson Software Solutions has
become one the leading suppliers of vision assessment software with thousands of systems now installed in optometric practices, hospitals, clinics, schools etc.
All of the programs are designed to run on standard PCs running Windows XP or later. The programs are supplied on a CD with detailed instructions on how to install and use the software and all the required accessories. All programs are thoroughly tested and are simple to use. We also offer free on-going helpline support for registered users.
