Insight animations each run for between 1 and 2 minutes and are designed to help eye care practitioners explain various diseases and conditions to patients.

 

A suggested narration appears at the bottom of the screen. The animations may be paused or rewound at any stage and you can even draw on the screen and capture a snapshot.

 

The content of each animation has been devised by experienced optometrists and ophthalmologists and the animations created by the UK’s leading provider of patient education software for healthcare professionals.

 

The animations cover Refractive conditions, Binocular vision disorders, Eye conditions and diseases, Laser surgery, Spectacle dispensing and Contact lenses. A number of general animations are also provided covering the general anatomy of the eye and visual pathway.

 

Each animation is supported by a leaflet to re-enforce the message. The leaflets have all been written by experts but can be customised to include your practice details and any other information that you wish to include.

    All this information is contained within a powerful framework allowing the practitioner to rapidly find the relevant animation or leaflet, maintain a list of favourites, email leaflets and images, store other images and even keep a record of which animations have been shown to which patient.
